Kid Quill Isn't In The Game For The Money Or The Fame, It's All About The Fans And Spreading Vibes.

Originally from the midwest city Shelbyville, Kid Quill grew up with two passions, soccer and music. Music was never really around him growing up, he kind of just caught on to it himself. His first real recognition for his talent came from a YouTube video posted by his friend of him freestyling. Being a star soccer player in high school helped him achieve a career at collegiate level. However Quill quit before his junior year at Depauw University, having trouble balancing time between soccer, school, and his true passion music.

This is when he fully started to pursue his music dreams. He started with his name which derived from his middle name, being Quillion, and Kid which stands for "Keep It Dope." (side note: if you don't know anything about Kid Quill, something you will figure out real quickly about him is how he is all about positivity and good vibes). Throughout the rest of college he kept on fine tuning his craft and learned as much as he could from artists he looked up to, such as, Kanye West, Big Sean, and Lil Wayne.

Kid Quill's past two albums, The Name Above The Title and 94.3 the Reel, tell stories from events of his life and his experiences so far in the music industry. He recently just finished his headlining tour with Skizzy Mars which held over 20+ shows across the US. For Kid Quill none of what he has done has been for the money or the fame. For him it has always been about creating the music he loves and for the ones who listen to it. He loves interacting with as many fans as he can, he likes to grow his brand on a personal level.

The two phenomenal pieces we would like to present to you all is his video for his song "Sounds Like You" and his newest release "Kids In The Summer." The visual is simple but it is what makes it so great. Both songs give you a feel of the type of storyteller Kid Quill is. His cadence and flows are very mellow and laid back. He is an artist that you will bump in your car on a long drive, when you are chilling with your closest friends, and his lyrics will get stuck in your head on replay.
